In case you haven't heard, Microsoft recently publish an app that works with your GPS to help you to avoid so called "GHETTO" areas. I think its kinda silly, but I guess certain people feel the need for it. I'm a believer that crime can happen anywhere. Microsoft is not exactly known for their apps, so this may be a marketing strategy to make them relevant in that arena. I didn't know they had apps, but I do now.
Notice in this article (click here) there is a see more link between each paragraph talking about other products from Microsoft and if they can compete with Apple (the headliner in the app world)... hmmm
